Sachin Pilgaonkar, a veteran actor of Hindi and Marathi film industry is known for his illustrious roles in classics like Geet Gaata Chal, Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se, Balika Badhu, Satte Pe Satta, Nadiya Ke Paar, Sholay and countless other hits.Speaking about his illustrious career Sachin says that even though he had no formal training in acting, singing or dancing, Bollywood has given him a lot of fame. The actor who is currently seen giving impressive performances in Zee TV’s ‘Star Ya Rockstar’ says that the show has given him a chance to hone his singing skills. Recently he directed a sequel to his 70s film ‘Ankhiyon ke Jharokon Se’, with a title ‘Jana Pahchana’. He believes that injustice was done to the hero’s role in the classic movie, hence he decided to revive the story and made the sequel to it with a happy ending.Sachin is often called as a multi faceted personality for his talented acting as well as direction. He has directed over 22 films and also a popular comedy show ‘Tu Tu Main Main’. Speaking of his future plans Sachin says that he plans to direct another comedy show in the near future since comedy is his forte.
