Shaleen Bhanot is a guy from Jabalpur who came to Mumbai on a business trip and ended up as a participant as on the reality show MTV Roadies on the MTV India. After his stunt on the show, he went on to appear in several Indian TV series and movies.
He has acted in Saat Phere on Zee TV, Kulvaddhu on Sony TV where he portrayed a negative role as ‘Agni’. He has also done a cameo on the show Kaajjal on Sony channel, and as of December 2008, he is starring in STAR Plus's Sangam.
He is remembered for his act in Saat Phere. He made his Debut in Saat Phere as Karan who falls in love with Shubhra. He has also starred in the movie Pyaare Mohan.
As of 17 October 2008, he has participated in the popular reality show, Nach Baliye 4 which had come to an end with him turning out to be the winner on 1st February 2009 ,for which he was awarded a shining trophy and a cheque of Rs fifty lacs by the king of bolywood Shahrukh Khan . Shahrukh Khan danced with Shaleen and Daljeet,his dance partner, on stage for the song " mar jani mar jani". He recently got married to Daljit in his hometown of Jabalpur. He currently has the lead role as Suryakamal in NDTV Imagine Drama Serial, Do Hanson Ka Jodaa.
