Sumona Chakravarty who essays the role of Natasha Kapoor (Ram’s sister) in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Bade Accche Lagete Hain’, may have settled in Amchi Mumbai now but she says her heart belongs to Lucknow where she was born and brought up. Her character as Natasha in the show has negative shades.
The Loreto Convent pass-out says she's enjoying every bit of her new-found fame. But she adds that even though she has tasted success for the first time she has not forgotten her Lucknowi Tehjeeb. Sumona tells that even today she has the same fluency of language from Lucknow and that she hasn’t adopted the Mumbaiya Hindi.
When asked whether she misses Lucknow , she confirms it saying that since she was brought up in Lucknow there are many of her childhood friends staying there and she misses them a lot.
Before being selected to play Natasha in ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hai’, Sumona has also done small roles in ‘Kasamh Se’ on Zee TV, ‘Kasturi’ on Star Plus, ‘Devi’ on NDTV imagine, ‘Horror Nights’ on Star One and ‘Sapno se Bhare Naina’ on Star Plus.
