Kellogg's Corn Flakes - Mind Games Baazi Dimaag Ki is the first of its kind family mind game show in India, which involves an ultimate test of the human mind, and how fast it works.
It’s not a quiz show to show case one's knowledge of useless trivia, but provides a common playing field for every one in the family to use their brain and outwit others.
The game show involves three families every episode selected from various parts of India. Each family includes the father, mother & a kid in the age group of 12-14.
There are four rounds in the game show. The first round is called "Boojho To Jane". It involves looking through visual clues and finding the common link to the answer which is an Indian Muhaavra (Proverbs/Idioms). The mother of each family plays this round. There are 10 iron points for each correct answer and no negative points for wrong answer. It’s a buzzer round. There are in total 6 muhavraas shown to the mothers in the first round in the form of three visuals for every muhaavra.
The second round is called "Dimaag Chalao". This round is for the fathers of the families. It involves a touch screen in the podium, and they are given a puzzle to solve. The puzzles changes over episodes.
We will be using static puzzles (jigsaw with pictures), Colour Sudoku (Shapes and colour version of normal sudoku) & video jig saw (Jig saw with moving image). the last two will be new innovations developed for this game show. The participant to finish it first gets 60 iron points and the second participant gets 30 iron points. The one who came third gets zero points.
The third round involves the kids of the family. They will be asked to work on a mind puzzle based on the famous Dr. Wood Games like 12 Ladies, Square off, Pixialate, Eight Marbles, Kaleidoscope, Cuboid etc. This is actually a difficult version of jigsaw puzzles, where a particular shape has to be formed with the pieces provided to the kids. They play this game on a separate platform with pieces created specifically for this game by Dr. Woods. The kid to finish the game first gets 60 iron points and the second kid gets 30 iron points.
There is no point for the third kid. This round is called "jod - Bejod.
After the third round one family is eliminated. The one with the lowest points gets eliminated.
The final round involves the two families and is called "Baazi Dimaag Ki". It involves the entire family playing together. One family is asked to come on the podium. They are shown a series of numbers based on three games (Floating Numbers, Falling Numbers & Calendar). The questions are based on mental math, and each family member is asked individual question by the host. The questions cant be passed to other family members. Either they can answer the question, or let the question pass. There are 10 iron points for right answer and 5 negative points for wrong answer. After the first family has played , the second family is called on the podium and they play this round.
After this round we calculate the score and we have one winner for the episode.
