After being on the top of ratings chart for a long time, Star Plus ‘Sasural Genda Phool’ is now slipping on viewership.
Suhana’s brain tumour track could not work well for the serial and failed to pick up the ratings. So, the writers will have to once again come up with a good track to keep the audience interest in the show.Sources added that the writers are planning to cure Suhana of her illness as the report says Suhana has tumour and not cancer and could be cured through a surgery. Another twist which will be seen soon includes Ishaan (male lead) where he will suffer from partial memory loss.
However, the writers are now looking forward to add some humor in the show as they might have realized that tragedy doesn’t sell for this show at least.‘Sasural Genda Phool’ is a unique show that falls into the category of a soap opera, romantic, comedy and a drama. It is a remake of a popular Bengali show ‘Ogo Bodhu Shundori’ which was aired on Star Jalsha.
